主要研究有机/高分子功能发光材料,用于防伪加密、激光领域、生物医学领域。,在国际重要学术期刊发表SCI论文共35篇,主持国家自然科学基金青年基金1项,湖北省自然科学基金面上项目1项,武汉市“曙光计划”人才项目1项,湖北省重点实验室开放课题4项,横向项目7项,科研经费充足。申请国家发明专利7项,已授权发明专利3项。获湖北省楚天学者计划“楚天学子”称号。
